Phycoprobe Phycoerythrin (PE)-Capryol-Biotin
Prepare conjugate as described above. Use 1 to 3 micrograms of the conjugate per 1 x 106 cells suspended in 0.1 mL.
50 mM Sodium Phosphate, 0.05% Sodium Azide, pH 7.0.
Ammonium Sulfate free.
This solution contains 1 mg of conjugate per mL. Do not dilute entire sample at once. Withdraw aliquots as needed with a micropipette, and dilute with 50 mM sodium phosphate buffer pH 7.0 containing 2-5 mg/mL BSA, or any other appropriate buffer.
Refrigerate in dark at 4°C. Do not freeze.
PROTEIN CARRIER: bovine serum albumin
Total activity of conjugate: >95%
The biliprotein used in making this conjugate had the following characteristics:
Molar Extinction Coefficient at 565 nm: 1.9 x 106
Emission Max. 575 nm (using excitation at 500 nm)
