Biotin~Caproyl~Alkaline Phosphatase
Description:
Biotin~Caproyl~Alkaline Phosphatase
Application:
For most applications use 1:500-1:5,000 dilution.
Presentation:
50 mM Sodium Phosphate, 150 mM Sodium Chloride, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Sodium Azide, pH 7.8
Aliquoting Instructions:
Do not dilute the entire reconsituted solution at once. Dilute in PBS buffer containing carrier protein like 0.5 % BSA, pH 7.4, 0.05% azide.
Storage:
Refrigerate at 4°C. Do not freeze.
Notes:
PROTEIN CARRIER: bovine serum albumin.
CONJUGATE CHARACTERISTICS: The enzyme used in this product is a highly-purified alkaline phosphatase of calf intestine origin, with a specific activity of @ 5,000 units (*) per mg. The biotin label is separated from the protein core by a caproyl spacer arm.
Total activity of conjugate against immobilized avidin: >90%
(*) Units expressed as micromoles of p-nitrophenylphosphate hydrolyzed per minute at 37°C in diethanolamine buffer pH 9.8.
