CONJUGATE CHARACTERISTICS:
The lectin used in this product is a research grade affinity-purified Concanavalin A (Con A).
Main carbohydrate recognition characteristics: (alpha) Mannosyl- and Gucosyl- residues.
Total activity of lectin against an affinity matrix: >95%
Molecular weight of Con A: 104,000 d.
ALIQUOTING INSTRUCTIONS:
This solution contains 5 mg of Con A per milliliter. Dilute 100 to 250 fold in 50 mM sodium acetate buffer pH 6.5, 150 mM% sodium chloride containing 1 mM [Ca2+] and [Mn2+], 5 mg/mL bovine serum albumin. Do not dilute entire sample at once.
